Ask us directlyA note on scope
Every project starts with a written scope: what we build, what you supply, and what stays outside the engagement. That document is why our answers below can be specific instead of vague. If a question is not listed here, it usually means the answer depends on your existing site, your traffic sources, or how your team handles approvals.
Scope and services
What we actually build
These are the questions we get before a first call: whether your project fits our work, and what a website engagement includes once it starts.
What services does Creative Studio LLC offer?
Three connected areas. Web design covers layout, content structure and visual identity. Web development covers the build itself: page templates, a content management system you can edit, performance work, and the technical setup for search. Digital marketing covers the work that brings people in after launch, including search optimisation, paid campaign setup, and reporting that shows which channels produced enquiries.
Can you take over a website that someone else built?
Yes, and it is common. We start with an audit of what exists: hosting, domain registration, the content system, analytics, and any paid campaigns currently running. After that we tell you honestly whether the site is worth keeping and improving or whether a rebuild will cost less over the next two years. You keep ownership of the domain and accounts throughout.
Do you work with businesses outside Singapore?
Most of our clients are in Singapore, and we also take on remote projects where the brief is clear and decisions can be made over scheduled calls. Time zones matter less than having one person on your side who can approve work. If your team is spread across several cities, we plan review rounds around that from the start.
What do you need from us before starting?
A short description of the business, the pages you expect to need, access to your current domain and hosting, and one person who can approve decisions. Anything you already have helps: a logo file, brand colours, existing copy, photos, or the analytics account. If you do not have those yet, we plan that work into the schedule rather than assuming it will appear.
Pricing and quotes
How we cost a project
Pricing questions are the ones people are most careful about, so here is how a number is built rather than a range that means nothing.
How is a quote calculated?
We quote against a written scope: the number of page templates, how much content needs writing or editing, whether a content system is needed, any integrations such as booking or payments by invoice, and how much marketing support you want at launch. You receive a breakdown by stage, so it is clear where the hours sit. Extra requests are quoted separately before anyone starts on them.
How do payments work?
Projects are invoiced by bank transfer, split across agreed stages, so payments follow delivered work rather than a single upfront sum. Retainers for ongoing marketing support are invoiced monthly. We do not take card payments online; the invoice you receive states the amount, the stage it covers, and the due date.
What is not included in a typical quote?
Third-party costs sit outside the project fee: hosting, domain renewal, paid advertising budgets, stock photography licences, and any specialist software you choose to buy. We list these separately and in plain terms so there is no surprise later. Ongoing maintenance after launch is optional and priced on its own, either as a monthly arrangement or per request.
What shapes the number
- How many distinct page templates the site needs
- Whether copy and photography already exist
- Integrations such as booking, enquiry routing or invoicing
- How much marketing support runs alongside launch
Send a rough brief and we will reply with the questions that change the figure.
Request a quoteTimelines and handover
How long the work takes
Timelines move for one reason more than any other: how fast feedback and content arrive. Here is the honest shape of a project, week by week.
How long does a website take from start to launch?
A small site with existing copy and images usually runs a few weeks. A larger build with new content, a content system and integrations takes longer. The variable is rarely the build itself; it is how many review rounds happen and how quickly content is approved. We give you a week-by-week plan at the start so you can see where your own team is needed.
What happens after launch?
We stay for the first weeks to watch how the site behaves: form submissions, page speed, search indexing, and any errors that only appear under real traffic. After that you choose whether to keep a support arrangement or take over editing yourselves. Either way you receive documentation on how the site is built and how to update it.
Can the site be launched in stages?
Often that is the better plan. A first release can carry the pages that bring enquiries, with service pages, case studies or a resource section following once the core is live. Staged launches need one decision in advance: which pages are essential on day one, because that shapes the template design and keeps the second release from turning into a rebuild.
How involved do we need to be during the build?
Less than most people expect, as long as decisions come back in a reasonable window. We ask for one reviewer per round, feedback collected in one place, and approval to move forward rather than open-ended notes. If your team has several stakeholders, we agree early who has the final say so the build does not stall.
Technical details
Hosting, access and ownership
These answers cover the details people ask about once a proposal is on the table and they are checking what they will actually control.
Who owns the website when the project ends?
You do. The domain, hosting account, content system and analytics are registered in your name, and we work inside your accounts rather than holding them for you. Design files and code produced for the project are handed over at completion. If you ever move to another provider, nothing needs to be rebuilt from scratch.
Where is the site hosted, and does that matter?
It matters for loading speed and for how easily the site is maintained. We recommend a host based on where your visitors are and what your content system needs, then set it up in your account. If you already have hosting you are happy with, we work with it and tell you plainly if it will hold the site back.
Can we edit the content ourselves after launch?
Yes, and we plan for it. Pages are built so text, images and service details can be updated without touching the layout. Training is a short walkthrough with your team, and the written notes stay with you. If you would rather not manage it at all, we can keep editing on a support arrangement instead.
How is performance and search visibility handled?
Page weight, image sizes, heading structure and page speed are handled during the build rather than patched afterwards. Search visibility work includes page titles, descriptions, internal linking, and a sitemap submitted for indexing. For paid campaigns we set up tracking so enquiries can be traced back to the channel that produced them, which is what makes later reporting useful.
Working together
Reporting and support after launch
Measurable outcomes only mean something if you can see where they come from. Here is what reporting looks like in practice, and what happens when something needs fixing after the site is live.
What does reporting include?
A monthly summary that shows enquiries and their source, which pages people actually reach, and how paid activity performed against its budget. We keep it short and readable, with a written note on what we would change next. Raw access to your analytics account stays with you, so you can check any figure yourself.
What if something breaks after launch?
Report it by email or phone during office hours and we investigate. Problems caused by our build are fixed at no extra cost; issues that come from a third-party plugin, a host outage or a change someone else made are diagnosed first and quoted before any work starts. Either way you get a straight answer about the cause.
Can you run campaigns alongside the website work?
Yes, and it is usually better to plan them together, because landing pages and tracking are decided during the build rather than added later. Campaign budgets are paid directly to the advertising platform, never through us. If you already work with another marketing team, we can set up the site so their campaigns report correctly instead.
